Fale Family

Form: (Group Discussion)

- Very tight crop
- S shape composition
- Contrasty photo

-Very textural image. Grey Jumper, Blue Jacket, Her gazing.

What would i do differently if i had to reshoot?

- Be careful that im not cutting out the hands of the child and the fathers hand.

FAILS

Evaluation: Today i done my second photoshoot on the Fale family. I thought i did a good job but then as i started to look through them i noticed that most of the photos the father was blinking. I didn't notice till after the shoot. It was a huge step back for me. There were times when the sun was really bright and then sometimes when it was cloudy, which set quite dark shadows on there faces and the lighting was quite harsh. So i had to just put up with the weather. I also didn't realise that i was cutting out hands and feet so it made me think more about my composition.

What worked?

What didn't work?

What i could do better?

What i could do better next time is have a reflector to shut down the dark shadows around their faces. Think about my composition focusing on the hands and legs, and learn other ways to communicate with kids who dont like to take photos.
